No Album and You are nominated for a major award? Oh No! STOP!

Awards are fast becoming a joke these days. I wont call names but when you take a look at people who are nominated for major awards in music you begin to wonder what happened! No music album and you are nominated for best this and best that. Are we encouraging artistes to become lazy?


Here in Nigeria and beyond nominees at the various music awards are full of musicians who have not released recent albums while those who release albums are sidelined. I will be honest, awards have become a game of popularity.
