DON'T GIVE UP ON ''BRING BACK OUR GIRLS''

On the night of 14–15 April 2014, 276 female students were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School in the town of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria.
The kidnappings were claimed by Boko Haram, an Islamic Jihadist and terrorist organization based in northeast Nigeria. Since the kidnap, The Bring backOur Girls Campaign has helped keep the public aware of the severity of the issue. How quickly does an incident vanish from the front pages of the media.

A month ago much of the world seemed united in its condemnation of the kidnapping of more than 200 girls by Boko Haram in Nigeria. But despite Hollywood stars and America’s first lady taking their pictures holding up placards reading “Bring Back Our Girls,” it has proved impossible to return them to their parents, who are in real agony.

Since this incident Boko Haram has continued their devilish acts. Its sad that most Nigerians are forgetting the fact that these girls could be any of their daughters and this hurts becasue we fail to see the big picture. These girls carry potentials and if we keep silent we will all loose. The government who should have seen to the return of our girls seem to be confused on what to do despite the proposed help from other countries. Nigerians, Lets not give up on our girls. A renowned man of God in Nigeria once said that ''Every child is your child'' how true.

It's time to act and bring back our girls because no sane person will abandon his or her own. As of 29th June, more than 200 students are still missing. Boko Haram has said that it wants to sell the girls. On social media? Hash tag the sentence #BringBackOurGirls as many times as you can as status update, organize forums and peace protest in your local community and lastly pray that God protect these bright ladies until they are found.
